A Styro Build Extension.

This beautiful, traditional Kentish cottage was recently transformed into a modern family home by the addition of a Styro Build extension.		Here you can see the rear extension and on the table the standard block that was used. Again the blocks have been covered with a traditional weather boarding.To do this battens of timber were fixed horizontally against the polystyrene and simply held by a metal fixing,the weather board was then fixed onto the battens.
Workers remove old tiles to expose original facade.		Here angle irons were used to give a strong fixing to the original superstructure.

Completely in keeping with the character of the property, the living space in this cottage was more than doubled in size by the addition of a two-storey extension to the left of the porch and the addition of a second, single-storey extension to the rear of the property.
